On July 14th 2015, I walked with an organised group of mixed aged people. We walked from Upper Derwent in the Peak District, north towards Bleaklow Stones, where there is a World War II, U.S. B29 Bomber plane crash site.

We found the wreckage by GPS triangulation, but were unable to wild camp by the lakeside, because the humid weather conditions brought out the midges, we were mobbed by them – it was unbearable ! (we slept in our cars)
